彭宣红，女，1969年5月出生，湖南长沙人，中共党员，文学学士、教育硕士，英语专业教授，湖南省高职英语专业委员会副主任委员，湖南省教育科学“十三五”规划课题咨询评审专家，湖南省中等专业学校职称评审专家库、岳阳市职称评审专家库评委，太阳城集团学术委员会委员。2017年7月任岳阳职业技术公司党委委员、宣传统战部部长。曾任人文科学系主任兼党总支书记、人文素质教育部主任。2007年12月至2008年2月，被岳阳市委组织部选派为访问学者，参加了岳阳市首批中青年领导干部赴美公共行政管理高级培训班学习。主持（参与）课题研究20余项，先后在《外国语文》、《湖南社会科学》等外语类核心、CSSCI及省级期刊上发表学术及公司产品论文30余篇，出版《英语语法教学定位与策略》等著作3部，主编国家级规划教材3部，获职业教育国家级教学成果二等奖一项、省级教学成果奖三项、省级教改成果奖四项、岳阳市社会科学优秀成果奖一项。先后被岳阳市总工会、湖南省总工会女工委员会授予“芙蓉百岗明星”称号，被岳阳市政府记三等功2次。

  Peng Xuanhong, female, born in May 1969, from Changsha, Hunan, is a CCP member, a bachelor of arts, a master postgraduate of education, a professor in English major, a vice director member of the Higher Vocational English Major Committee in Hunan Province, a consultative and judging expert of the Planning Projects in “the 13th 5-year plan” for Education and Science of Hunan Province, a member in the Judging Expertise of Professional Titles in Technical Secondary School, a judge of the Expertise of Professional Titles of Yueyang City, a member in the Academic Committee of Yueyang Vocational Technical College. She became a member of the Party Committee in Yueyang Vocational Technical College and the Director of the Publicity and United Front Work Department in 2017. She was once the Dean and General Party Secretary of the Humane Science Department, the Dean of Humane Quality Education Department. From December 2007 to February 2008, she was sent by the Organization Department of the Yueyang Party Committee as a visiting scholar, joined the study in senior training class of public administrative management of the first group of middle-aged-youth leaders and cadres from Yueyang City to the U.S. She has held (participated) the studies of 20 subjects. She has successively published over 30 academic or educational theses on foreign languages core, CSSCI and provincial-level periodicals like the Foreign Languages and Literature, the Social Science of Hunan, etc. She has also published 3 pieces of works like the Educational Location and Strategies of English Grammar, etc. and has compiled 3 national-level planned textbooks. She has been granted the 2nd prize of National-level Teaching Performance of Vocational Education for once, the Prizes of Provincial-level Teaching Performances for three times, the Prizes of Provincial-level Educational Reforms Performance for four times, the Prize of Excellent Result of Social-science in Yueyang for once. She has been successively granted the title of “Lotus All Posts Stars” by Yueyang City Federation of Trade Unions and the Female Employee Committee of Hunan Federation of Trade Unions, and the 3rd class merits by the Government of Yueyang City for twice.
